Our History
Carolina HydroSeeding, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Dave Johnson, who realized the need for a reputable hydroseeding company in the area after searching for a company to do his own property. Starting with the first small front yard on the west side of Raleigh, NC, Carolina HydroSeeding, Inc. has grown to the outreaches of a New Bern airport, an elementary school in Charlotte, a complete housing development at Holly Springs to a waste land fill in southeastern Virginia.
At the start, 85% of Carolina HydroSeeding, Inc. business was the homeowner who needed a complete makeover for their personal yard. In the years since then, we have expanded our focus to mostly commercial projects. We now focus on airports, landfills, mine reclamation, housing developments, artillery and smaller shooting ranges for both the military and the private sectors, hotel/motels, schools, all purpose athletic fields and so on.
At Carolina HydroSeeding, Inc., we pride ourselves on being small enough to give the personal commitment and attention to every project and large enough to collectively pull together for the largest of jobs without hesitation.
